Helllooooo from the Grey Valley! Biked up to Awahono School as they were one of our blogging classes in 2016. Surrounded by dairy farms; a great wee school with the best school sandpit I've ever seen!
Unfortunately their Senior class was in Greymouth at Manual for the day, so didn't get to connect with the class, just their teacher who teaches Year 1 this year.
What a shame the class wasn't there but great you got to catch up with the teacher. It looks like a pretty special school. Apart from the sandpit, what would be your stand out from the school?
